Cleaning Tips

Removing the harsh toxins from our homes is a great first start to getting our health back or preventing illness in the first place. When I was working on my health, I did a lot of reading and listening to functional medicine doctors and practitioners and they always talked about how the toxins affect our health. The toxins affect us in so many ways, mostly they destroy our microbiome in our digestive tract, overwhelm our liver, and are endocrine disruptors. If we stop the damage they are creating, we allow our bodies to work the way they were intended to.

You can replace everything in our home with the Thieves starter kit and a foaming hand soap for each sink.

Thieves Laundry Soap

Want to make your own laundry soap?

Here is a great recipe that I used for years. When I calculated the cost years ago it was $3 for a Simply Orange container (1.8liters).

This recipe was developed by Melissa Poepping and is in her book, The Chemical Free Home volume 1
